The steam engine, which used to be the heart of the industrial activities on the former Royal United Leather (KVL) terrain is beating again!

Next year, we will celebrate the 100th anniversary of our steam engine, which was produced in Ghent in 1924 to meet the KVL's growing energy needs. After being forgotten for years following the factory's closure, this steam engine was painstakingly restored by a group of volunteer engineers in 2012.
